Miller Aviation Reclaim Systems, MARS, has developed a state of the art mobile reclaim cart that will reclaim your sump fuel from your Jet A and your Avgas fuelers as well as your fuel farms. MARS CARTS consist of 100% stainless steel plumbing and holding tanks, Class 1 Division 1 electric, UL listed 12V pumps, Velcon filters and housings, meters, BC fire extinguisher, deadman, and fuel selector switch with lockout/tagout.
Each cart has two completely separate systems, AVGAS and JET A. No internal cross-contamination is possible. A selector switch is provided to help prevent accidental user cross-contamination. Each tank has a 100 gallon capacity. When the tank is full, fuel is then emptied, via the onboard Velcon filter, back into your fuel farm for use.
MARS CARTS may also be used to de-fuel over-wing aircraft. In this process, MARS considers fuel pulled from an aircraft to be contaminated and is therefore pumped into your hazmat container prior to the Velcon filter.
